Growing

Yay! We're getting closer! February 8, 2010.

Denver Art Museum with the Llamozas Family on February 6, 2010.

February 2, 2010=24 weeks. Ultra sound with Dr. Heinze, Mom, Flat Stanley. Baby Blodgett is doing great and is growing a little ahead of schedule. I was really happy to hear that.

Watching my mom bathing Bruno with Flat Stanley.

Mike's 24 birthday party on January 31, 2010.

Flat Stanley and I at water aerobics.

Pretending to listen to Yo-Yo ma.

January 25th: Mike and I are so excited that the 22nd week is here! This is the best face I could get out of him. Mike loves getting pictures taken...

December and January updates

Here you can see my belly a little better on the same day.

By the way, I finally figured out what her kicks feel like, that same week. Since then I've noticed she moves and kicks a lot. Mike was even able to feel her on Saturday. It was really fun to finally know what she feels like.

January 6, 2010 = 20th week = 5th month

The cake. Yum.

Our other birthday party attendant, Bruno. As you can see he was quite the party animal.

Me and the wonderful cake.

Mom and I.

The cake makers, Mom and Murray. They made a beautiful and delicious yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Mom also make quesillo.
My 24th birthday party! January 6, 2010. Mom, Murray, and Bruno attended. Mike had to go to L.A. that night for some training with his internship. We really missed him, but I was happy we were able to spend some time together that day before he left.

Mom even sang to me in Spanish.

My 24th birthday celebration! January 5, 2010. Mike took me to dinner at a fancy Italin place, called Undici in Littleton. It was really good. He had gnocchi and I had salmon. It was so good and I had a big appetite (it was very very nice to have that back). We also had cream brulee. After we went to see the Princess and the Frog. I lost my camera at the movie theater and was so happy to find it when we went back. It was a really nice birthday! Thanks Mike. I love you.

Brooke and I at the reception in our beautiful black dresses. Brooke had a chance to come visit S.L.C during December. We were so happy to see her.

Mike and I at Jessica and Tim's reception.

Jessica and Tim's reception on December 18th.

Conquering Mike's car (learning how to drive stick) = my worst nightmare. JK. I am doing pretty good but get really nervous. Practice makes perfect, right?

Dec 18, 2009 = 17 weeks = in our 4th month
My first pregnancy picture. You can see my little bump. Mike and I could really tell a difference starting this week.

Leaving the hospital, very excited about seeing our baby and finding out her gender.

Mike and I at the ultra sound at the hospital on the 16th week. We just finished and saw our beautiful baby moving around and even drinking. This is also when we found out we are having a girl. She was big and healthy. From her measurements she is due on May 22 but since it's only 4 days different from our previous due date (May 26th), it will remain 26th.

It's a girl

Here is the first part of the ultrasound. The baby was in a weird position, so they couldn't determine the gender.

They looked again, and the baby had moved. This one shows the gender (0:25) and a profile of the baby (2:19).

Embryo will look like a Manatee next week.

Update/baby news

"Embryo", as we lovingly refer to him or her, looks something like this at 5 weeks. There is a website that tells you what a baby looks like at different stages during the pregnancy.

Three times a baby!
After three tests, we started to believe it. We're really excited!

Twice!

Once!

Polina's 24th birthday. We went to a sushi place and waited for hours for them to bring the food, but it was good.

I'll let Mike Explain this one. "In first grade, they gave us a block of white clay and told us to make something. I decided to sculpt my dog. I made sure he was all man."

Mike and Buster napping. So cute!

These are some of our nieces at my brother Rafael's wedding (from the left: Lauren, Grace, and Sophie). You've got to love Gracie's smile!

I wasn't aware of the tradition of keeping your cake top to eat on your first anniversary. We ate it when we got back from our honeymoon so we bought another one from the same bakery on our anniversary. It was delicious.

We've been married a year!

Our one year anniversary in Park City.
Buster and Star joined us.

Our first ward camp out. Well we actually forgot to take a picture at the camp out so we set the tent up at home and took pretend pictures.

We are growing a garden too. Here is our first red pepper.

My first zucchini bread.

Our wonderful neighbors gave have given us lots and lots of delicious veggies this summer.

Mike, Dylan, and Anna at Megan and Cliff's wedding. Aren't they cute?

Delicious home-made calzones.
